Kirkendall Public Library has a wide variety of monthly programs and events for every member of your family. We encourage readers of all ages to visit us at 1210 NW Prairie Ridge Dr. Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. to learn more about what we have to offer.

Allison Brennan: Thrills & Chills Workshop

Ankeny Writer's Workshop

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author, Allison Brennan, will discuss the essential elements of writing mystery and suspense and share her tips on writing and publishing.

Allison is the author of more than three dozen thrillers and numerous short stories. Reviewers have called her "a master of suspense" and RT Book Reviews have said her books are "mesmerizing" and "complex." She currently writes two series - the Lucy Kincaid/Sean Rogan thrillers and the Maxine Revere cold case mysteries.

This event is sponsored by the Kirkendall Public Library and the Iowa Chapter of Sisters in Crime.
