The Mayor’s Youth Council announces the third annual Youth Leadership Symposium, an event designed to help Ankeny’s youth in grades 8 through 12 develop important leadership skills. The symposium will be held on Saturday, April 10 at the Pinnacle Club at Otter Creek Golf Course located at 4100 NE Otter Creek Drive. “Putting U in the Future” themed event will begin at 9:00 a.m. The event is free and open to students in 8th through 12th grades.

Youth Awards & Nominations
Nomination Deadline is March 19, 2010
The nomination process for both Youth of the Year and Youth Club of the Year is now open and applications will be accepted through March 19. Nominations can come from any person wishing to nominate a youth or youth club, regardless of residency, age or position.
