Where Do I Vote?

On Election Day, you must vote in the precinct where you live. Locate your precinct or polling place online through the Iowas Secretary of State's web site.

You may also contact the Polk County Auditor, Jamie Fitzgerald, at 515-286-3247 to find out where the polling place for your precinct will be and when the list of precinct polling places and sample ballots will be printed.

When Do I Vote?

Polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. for city elections.

Polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. for state and federal level primary and general elections.

Absentee Voting

To vote absentee, download and complete the Official Absentee Ballot Request Form.

Early/Satellite Voting

Early voting will be offered Oct. 17-29, 2016. Hours are Monday - Friday, from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 29 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

For 2016, the Ankeny satellite voting location has moved to the Ankeny DMACC Campus Student Center (Building #5) located at 2006 S. Ankeny Blvd.
