All City of Ankeny buildings are closed to the public in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

All residents, contractors and others are encouraged to do business with the City via phone, email or this website. Find contact information now.

These operational changes  are reflective of the suggested guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control and the Iowa Department of Public Health.     Winterization schedule for Ankeny city parks

    As colder weather sets in, the City of Ankeny is preparing all city parks for winter through October. This work includes closing restrooms and turning off water fountains for the winter months, please plan accordingly.

    • Oct. 14 - 15          Splash pads closing
    • Oct. 14 - 29          Drinking fountains and restrooms closing. AMP restrooms will remain open, but drinking fountain will be shut off
    • Oct. 21 – 25         Portable restrooms will be removed, except at Sunrise Park and the Dog Park
