Project Description

The 2023 PCC Street Patching Program project includes the full depth removal and replacement of PCC street pavement at four (4) separate locations, generally located on:

    Site 1 – East First Street between Ankeny Boulevard and Delaware Avenue (9” patches),

    Site 2 – NW State Street between West First Street and NW 9th Street (9” patches),

    Site 3 – SW Glenbrooke Boulevard and SW 29th Street intersection (8” pavement), and

    Site 4 – NE 16th Street and NE Innsbruck Court intersection (7” pavement).

Progress Update

Site 1 (Eastbound East First Street from Ankeny Boulevard to Delaware Avenue) is fully completed.

Site 2 – (Northbound NW State Street from West First Street to NW 9th Street) is under construction.  Stages 1 and 2 (West First Street to NW 4th Street) and Stages 3 and 4 (NW 4th Street to the FBBC Entrance) are fully completed.  Construction on Stages 5 and 6 (FBBC Entrance to NW 9th Street) started Tuesday, May 30 and will last approximately two to three weeks.  Stages 5 and 6 will continue to require one lane of traffic heading southbound and northbound in the existing southbound lanes from NW 4th Street to NW 9th Street.

Site 3 – Starting the week of June 12, the intersection of SW Glenbrooke Boulevard and SW 29th Street will be fully closed for reconstruction.  Stage 1 consists of the intersection itself plus approximately 200 feet south of the intersection.  Stage 2 consists of SW 29th Street approximately 250 feet west of the intersection.  Each stage will last approximately two to three weeks.  SW Glenbrooke Boulevard will be reopened to traffic at the completion of Stage 1.

Site 4 – During mid to late summer, the intersection of NE 16th Street and NE Innsbruck Court will be fully reconstructed.

Letters will be sent via postal mail to the directly affected residential property owners (Sites 2, 3, and 4) approximately one week prior to construction commencing at each location.
