All City of Ankeny buildings are closed to the public in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

All residents, contractors and others are encouraged to do business with the City via phone, email or this website. Find contact information now.

These operational changes  are reflective of the suggested guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control and the Iowa Department of Public Health.     • Employees are still working regular hours and are available by phone and email. View staff contact list.

    • We are taking Pet Licensing and Dog Park Passes via email, US Mail.

    • Mobile Food Vendors, Peddlers, Noise, and Special Event applications will be available on the website in the near future.

    • We will be conducting meetings electronically until further notice. View the calendar for specific directions on how to login in and participate. Each meeting has its own meeting ID when calling in. The public can participate in the meeting by providing comments during the open forum and public hearings.

    • If you prefer to provide feedback prior to the meeting, comments can be sent by email to dhoy@ankenyiowa.gov or by calling 515-965-6405. Comments must be made no later than 4:30 p.m. on the day of the meeting. All comments received will be made a part of the public hearing or shared during the open forum.

    • If a person chooses to participate in the meeting through the electronic conferencing on Monday, they may comment via the Chat Room feature during the open forum and public hearings.
