    Ankeny is situated at the intersections of interstates 35 and 80, providing immediate coast-to-coast and border-to-border access.     Air Service

    Ankeny Regional Airport (IKV) is the third busiest airport in Iowa and is the base for over 200 general aviation aircraft. The airport is located along Interstate 35 and adjacent to three business parks. The 5,500 foot long runway allows access for most corporate aircraft. Exec 1 Aviation is the full service FBO at the Ankeny Regional Airport.

    Des Moines International Airport (DSM) is Iowa's largest airport and among the 100 most active commercial airports in the nation. Des Moines International is served by six commercial carriers. Passengers have non-stop access to 16 destinations and international flights made with one connection to larger cities. Ankeny's business parks are a short 25 minute drive to the Des Moines International Airport. DSM serves over 2.5 million passengers annually.
