    Fire Suppression

    The Ankeny Fire Department’s Fire Suppression Division is responsible for the preservation of life and property in the City of Ankeny and surrounding areas.

    Currently, the Fire Division is an ISO Class 3 department. All members of the Ankeny Fire Department are trained at or above the certification level of Firefighter II.

    The Ankeny Fire Department currently operates out of three fire stations.
