Curbside service will be offered on Sundays, 1- 4:45 p.m. for vulnerable populations and those that cannot wear a face covering.
How to participate
Step One: Place your items on hold.
Login to the online catalog and place a hold on materials you want to check out. Hold requests can be made online or by email.
Step Two: Wait for notification
Library staff will process the request and email you when the materials are ready for curbside pickup. To support social distancing efforts, the library is operating with very limited staff, so please be patient. Orders will be processed as quickly as possible. Please do not call to check to see if we got your order, we will email you when it is ready. Please wait for the confirmation email before coming to the library for pick up.
If you log into your online account, some key phrases to know are as follows:
- Pending -- your item is on a shelf and waiting for a team member to pull it for you
- Waiting -- your item is currently checked out to someone else and you are in the waiting list to get it
- Being Held -- your item is ready for you to pick up during our curbside service hours
Step Three: Come to library for pick up
Once you receive the email that items are ready for pick up, visit the library during our curbside service hours:
- 1 - 4:45 PM (Library will be closed to the public)
Please note: When picking up items, please remain in your vehicle, staff will bring materials out. We also ask that you return materials in the book drop as library staff will not be able to accept returns when they deliver materials curbside. This is essential to maintain safe handling of all materials. Please remember the library remains closed to the public. Lobbies, restrooms, computers, and other spaces are not accessible.
