2015 Public Stormwater Detention Basin Study

The 2015 Public Stormwater Detention Basin Study was completed by consultants.  The study included 38 public stormwater detention basins that are owned by the City.  The report and its findings were formally accepted by the City Council on April 4, 2016.

The purpose of the study was to understand and summarize the conditions of Ankeny's stormwater detention basins and to recommend capital improvements and/or changes in their management so that they will better serve the needs of the City and its residents.
