Project Description

The 2025 PCC Reconstruction Program – NW 9th Street project includes pavement reconstruction and utility improvements along NW 9th Street from approximately 375 feet west of NW School Street to just east of NW Logan Street in the City of Ankeny.

Progress Update

Project pushed to 2026 construction season due to DOT construction delays on N Ankeny Blvd and DOT portion of NW 9th St from N Ankeny Blvd to NW Logan St (North Leg). City of Ankeny construction of NW 9th St will start in late March or Early April of 2026. 

Stage One will be from just west of NW Logan St (South Leg) to just east of NW Logan St (North Leg).

Stage 2 will be from just west of NW Logan St (South leg) to about 375 feet west of NW School St. - Updated 12/11/25

Construction will start in June after the DOT reconstructs their portion of NW 9th St from N Ankeny Blvd to NW Logan St (North Leg).

Stage One will be from just west of NW Logan St (South Leg) to just east of NW Logan St (North Leg).

Stage 2 will be from just west of NW Logan St (South leg) to about 375 feet west of NW School St.
