Block Party

A Block Party Permit is required for all celebrations that include having a street blocked off. The permit requires all homeowners included on the street that will be blocked off to be notified and to agree to the street closure. The permit application must be returned to the City Clerk’s office at least 10 business days in advance of the planned event.

Signatures of all property owners or tenants within the blocked off portion of the street are required, download a form that will need to be uploaded as part of your application.

Fees

$20 nonrefundable application fee
$30 block party permit for street closure
$30 noise permit for amplified sound if applicable

Please note, online payments are subject to a 3% processing fee. Cash or check payments can be made in-person at City Hall, 410 W First St. Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
