Food Trucks

All Mobile Food Vendors must be licensed by the City of Ankeny 

Residents are encouraged to look for the permit to be posted in the food truck or stand.

Approved vendors are required to keep their license posted in their unit at all times while conducting business in the City and be able to produce the license upon the request of prospective customers as evidence of compliance. Licenses are valid for one year, from April 1 through March 31.

Residents who encounter unlicensed vendors are encouraged to file a report with the Ankeny Police Department at 515-286-3333.

The following is a list of vendors licensed to sell food in Ankeny. If a vendor who is not on this list attempts to conduct business within the City and fails to produce a valid City of Ankeny Mobile Food Vendor permit, please contact the Ankeny Police Department non-emergency number at 515-286-3333 to file a report.
