Update: Iowa Adventure Pass Returns on May 29, 2025!

Use your Ankeny Kirkendall Public Library card to visit local area attractions!
- Available for Ankeny residents or rural residents in Crocker Township, Elkhart Township, and Washington Township, 18 years and older.
- For residents living inside the city limits of Elkhart: The City of Elkhart contracts with Cambridge Memorial Library for library services, including digital resources. Please contact Cambridge Memorial Library for information on digital resources.
- Library card must have $4.99 or less in fines and cannot be expired.
- Passes are for general admission only and cannot be used for special events.
- The person reserving the pass must be the one to redeem it or admission may be denied. Photo ID will be required at the venue.
- Passes must be printed to be redeemed. Digital copies are not accepted.
- Each person may reserve one pass per venue every 365 days.
- Passes may be reserved up to 60 days in advance.

The library has the following passes available:
Blank Park Zoo (2 passes)
Up to 2 adults and 2 children ages 2-12; children 1 and under are free.
Botanical Garden Passes (1 pass)
Up to 2 adults and 2 children ages 2-12; children 1 and under are free.
Des Moines Children's Museum (2 passes)
Up to 4 children and adults ages 1 and over. No charge for babies under 1.
Reiman Gardens (Ames, Iowa) (1 pass)
Up to 2 adults and 2 children ages 2-12; children 1 and under are free.
Science Center of Iowa (2 passes)
Up to 2 adults and 2 children ages 2-12; children 1 and under are free.
