The City Manager’s Office ensures that the policy direction set by the City Council is implemented and that the City’s delivery of public services is provided in an efficient and cost-effective manner. 


Interim City ManagerMike Schrock

Mike Schrock is serving as the interim city manager. He is responsible for the daily operation of the City by performing highly responsible and complex management and administrative duties. In addition, he is responsible for management oversight of Municipal Utilities, Community Development, Parks & Recreation and Public Works. Prior to his appointment as assistant city manager, Mike served as the City manager for the City of Oskaloosa for 12 years.

Mike has a master’s degree in Public Administration from University of Arizona and a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University.

Administrative Services DirectorJennifer Sease

Jennifer Sease is responsible for the management oversight of the City Clerk, Human Resources, Finance, Library and Information Technology departments. Prior to serving as the Administrative Services Director, Jennifer served as the City’s Finance Director. She holds a B.S. in Accounting from Northwest Missouri State University.
